The VH-30 is a 2-way head that can serve as a compact ultralight video, sport or birding head.
Two-way heads allow quick and easy tracking of a moving subject without compromising a level horizon (provided your tripod is leveled). This feature is optimal for any genre of photography where you have to track a moving subject like birds in flight, animals, sport or for smooth video pans.
While a gimbal head is the optimal solution for stills and a fluid head is the optimal solution for video, those options are both extremely large and heavy. The VH-30 weighs just 450g and is only about 10cm3 in volume, making it ultralight and super compact for its class.

- The VH-30 features adjustable tension to ensure smooth motion, whether you’re mounting a 70-200mm f/4 or a 400mm f/2.8. A massive spirit level ensures quick and easy leveling, particularly on tripods that don’t have a spirit level.
- An extra-long 100mm quick release plate is included to provide the necessary margin to ensure that your lens is balanced.
- A removable 30cm handle is included to assist with smooth panning for video use.
