KUWAIT BROADCASTING SERVICES (KW) 2023

Upgrade of the Main radio studio of MOI to AoIP technology. The system includes a 4 people capable news studiο, 2 Control rooms (one main with editing capabilities and a second one for recordings and backup) and a 10-seat NRCS with an interface with the corresponding NRCS system of the Television station.

The system is interconnected simultaneously via AoIP (livewire) and AES, while analog audio is only available for the microphones and speakers. The heart of the system is 2 mixed AXIA Quasar, with capacity for 24 and 16 faders with the required number of Mic, Analog, AES & GPIO xNodes for a fully functional and backup system.

The interface with the MCR is via optical fiber. The system includes the Dalet NRSCS (Galaxy) with a play out station in the main control and an editing station in the backup, while there is also a fast editor from Wheatstone (VoxPro).

The newsroom area has 10 workstations equipped with Dalet News editor.
